son of a sailor
Monday, January 30th, 2012Loving everything from Austin-based jewelry makers Son of a Sailor. They opened their shop in May of last year but somehow escaped me until now. I’d love about a dozen of the bracelets to stack up my arm.

Loving the entire line of jewelry from SMJD. All of the pieces are knitted or crocheted. I love how textural and chunky they are but still really wearable.
Loving this jewelry line Cold Picnic. See more here.
What’s not to love about this necklace? It’s adorable, it’s handmade by artisans in Guatamala and it’s called the Chi-Chi Fat. ‘Nuf said.
If I were to wear it I’d layer as many as my neck could take. I mean, if you’re gonna go, go big. Right?
My terrifically talented friend Alyssa Ettinger makes gorgeous ceramics. Sure, we’re friends, but I’d think her work was beautiful even if we’d never met. Just this summer she’s expanded her line to include jewelry. She’s offering up pendants and earrings, casting molds from vintage beads and buttons. The results are spectacular. You can see more of her work right here.
From top to bottom – Blu Bijoux bangles, Alex and Ani Malachite bangles, Seema bangles, 5 piece stacked bangles and Seasonal Whispers bracelet.
Love this gorgeous bracelet from Fortune Favors the Brave.
We all know I love a good feathered necklace. When I came across these bracelets by Lennebelle I was instantly smitten. Perhaps tassels will be the new feathers?

This necklace from Oscar de la Renta – perfection!
