I came across Remade USA on Daily Candy a little while back. They’re a Brooklyn based company that makes gorgeous leather bags. But, even better, they also do bespoke work taking an old leather jacket and turning it into a bag! How great is that?!

I happen to have an old leather coat of my grandmothers. It’s too big for me but I could never bear to part with it. Now I think I may have found the perfect way to use it! If I was going to make it into a bag it would have to be the Dolores because – a) it’s my favorite style that they carry and b) it was my grandmothers name :)

Despite getting more snow yesterday I’m optimistic that the warm weather is approaching.  I couldn’t help but start looking at sandals.  I can’t wait to see my toes again! Some current faves from Urban Outfitters.
