i listed some new items in the shop today.

where do i even begin?  i saw a dress made by emily ryan on the front page of etsy this morning and clicked through to her shop.  what i found when i got there were some of the most beautiful clothes i’ve seen in a long time.  structured but not stiff, totally feminine without being girly, each piece is better than the next!

and ps. - if you do buy something from her can you please tell me so i can live vicariously through you.  because sadly her gorgeous frocks have no place in my living in the middle of the woods life.

i forgot to bring my camera with me to renegade!  such a bummer!  although not surprising since i was like a lunatic those last few days leading up to the show. so i don’t have any photos from the event but you’ll just have to trust me when i say we had the most perfect fair weather.  ever.  this is my third year doing renegade and the first time i did not experience torrential rain and/or extreme heat.  hooray!

i had mentioned in a previous post that i wanted to get a little case for my business cards.  i found a beautiful one at jewelweeds booth.  i love julia’s work, it’s all so beautiful and has such a soft, soothing appeal to it.

a ring from erica weiner.  it’s perfectly thin and delicate.  i love it!

this amazing bird from fern animals.  this is my second fern animal bird, you can see pics of the one i bought last year here.  i love ashley’s work.  everything she makes is so well crafted and her attention to detail is amazing.  look at that wing and tail!

and c bought an owl for himself from lauren alane.  last year he bought rosalee for me but decided he wanted a little boy bird for himself.

browsing the anthropologie website today i was really loving the diamond and lattice i noticed throughout the site.

to celebrate earth day i’m having a sale in my shop on all organic cotton shirts.

as i was doing some spring cleaning the other day i came across this top tucked into a corner of one of my overnight bags.  i had bought it during my holiday travels and then completely forgotten about it!  the top is from a shop in new hope, pa. called love saves the day.  they used to have a store in the east village as well but sadly that one has closed.

finding the shirt after all this time was so exciting, sort of like buying it all over again!

as a recent transplant to the catskill mountains from brooklyn i was thrilled to see this new bag in the maptote shop.  love it!

finally, after much foot dragging on my part, i’ve got a new print in my etsy shop.  i’ve printed it on a long sleeve shirt and will be doing it on short sleeved shirts in the near future.

this dressed by etsy is going to be all about comfort.  clothes to wear on the sort of day when maybe it’s rainy outside and all you want to do is curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book.
