Aren’t these lovely? I came across this post on Sweet Paul. I think I need to make some of these.

Feeling inspired by the warm sunny weather we had yesterday I made a spring inspired treasury.

I came across Remade USA on Daily Candy a little while back. They’re a Brooklyn based company that makes gorgeous leather bags. But, even better, they also do bespoke work taking an old leather jacket and turning it into a bag! How great is that?!
I happen to have an old leather coat of my grandmothers. It’s too big for me but I could never bear to part with it. Now I think I may have found the perfect way to use it! If I was going to make it into a bag it would have to be the Dolores because – a) it’s my favorite style that they carry and b) it was my grandmothers name :)

Up in my neck of the woods we get all sorts of critters once it warms up. Bees, wasps, beetles, katydids, you get the picture… Some of them I really enjoy having around such as ladybugs which eat aphids (also known as “plant lice”, ewwww) and the industrious little bees that help to pollinate my gardens.
Wouldn’t it be a nice way to say thank you by giving them a special little home to call their own? I just love this bee house. It’s always nice when something is as useful as it is attractive. You can get one of your own right here.

That sounds like the name of a lovely children’s book doesn’t it?
This golden apple tree is a gorgeous new print from the peeps at Tugboat. I already have two of their prints – the squirrel and the shack from the Woodland Creatures series but I think I’ve got room for one more… I just love their work, the attention to detail is amazing.
