chicks

you may remember that i wrote about chickens a little while ago. we got those chickens as adults, they were older and in need of a home so we took them in. after realizing how nice they were to have around we decided to go ahead and get more, this time raising them from chicks.  there are 9 in total.  at the moment they are living indoors but i take them out into my vegetable garden every day so they can peck around. you can see more photos of them here.

  1. congratulations alison! i think raising from chicks is the best way as they will think of you as their ‘mama’… and they are particularly gorgeous! i love all the colors. let me know if there are any extras available; we need a few *replacements* :n(
